Gathoni Wamuchomba has come out and talked straight. She said it is pure madness to say that all NATIONAL schools in Mlima area must take only “Mlima” kids.
Eh! Imagine that one. Some people think only their tribe deserve good schools. Wamuchomba says no! Schools are for everyone. Not only one tribe.
You see, some leaders are now using tribal ideas to block children from going to national schools. That one is very wrong. Every kid in Kenya has the right to learn.
It does not matter if you are from Mlima, Coast, Nyanza, Rift, Western, or Nairobi. National schools are supposed to take smart kids from all over Kenya. That is the whole point.
Wamuchomba also warned that if this tribal madness continues, next thing you know, some leaders will want all teachers in Mlima schools to be “wasapere” or same tribe only. Eh! That one is too much.
Teachers are supposed to teach, not to match tribe. Every kid must get chance. Every teacher must be chosen for skill, not tribe.
We must stop politicians from using tribe to control schools. Using tribe to stop kids from entering national schools is not fair. It is illegal.
It is bad for the country. It divides people. And it makes schools only for some.
Kenya future depends on education. If smart kids are blocked because of tribe, the country will suffer.
Every kid has right to dream. Every kid has right to go top school. National schools are for best kids from everywhere. Not only one area or tribe. Wamuchomba is saying the truth: tribal nonsense must stop.
Leaders must stop thinking only for their own community. Education is bigger than tribe. Every Kenyan kid deserves chance to shine.
So, people, we must listen to Wamuchomba. Every kid matters. Every kid future matters.
National schools are for all. Not for few. And anyone using tribe to stop learners must be stopped now.
