The footage, which has been widely shared on social media, shows the founder of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church addressing his congregation during a past sermon.
In the clip, Ezekiel says he received a divine warning that February would be marked by numerous deaths and that he, too, was at risk if he was not careful.
According to the preacher, the revelation was initially known only to his wife.
He later decided to share it with congregants as he reflected on a series of deaths and tragic accidents that had occurred during the month, involving both prominent individuals and ordinary citizens.
“It is only my wife that knew. God told me to be very careful, that I will also die in February,” Ezekiel is heard saying. “He said death is coming, and even you, if you’re not careful, you will die.”
Ezekiel told worshippers that he and his wife took the warning seriously, emphasizing that he believes God often alerts people to impending danger.
He urged his followers to remain prayerful, vigilant, and cautious, warning that ignoring such warnings could have fatal consequences.
The preacher also recalled a separate incident in 2025 in which he said he narrowly escaped death after avoiding a flight that later crashed in Diani.
According to Ezekiel, he opted to travel by train instead, a decision he believes saved his life.
Although February passed without the pastor’s death, Ezekiel used the moment to caution against complacency.
He reminded congregants not to look down upon those who had died, saying tragedy can strike anyone regardless of status, education, or perceived righteousness.
“Some were cautious, yet bad things still came,” he said, urging believers to seek salvation, maintain humility, and remain spiritually alert.
The resurfaced video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some followers expressing renewed faith while critics questioned the claims, once again placing Pastor Ezekiel at the center of national debate.
