Total Foolishness, Professor Herman Manyora Reacts As Government Sells Safaricom Shares

The decision by the Government to sell its Safaricom shares for Ksh 200 Billion has elicited mixed reaction from Kenyans, especially critics of the Kenya Kwanza Government.

A section of Kenyans have faulted the decision with some of them accusing the Government of selling some of the best of its national resources.

Among those that have reacted to the decision by the Government is popular political analyst Professor Herman Manyora.

Speaking through his official X page, the vocal activist has termed the decision by the Government as rather foolish.

In his bold message, the vocal analyst has argued that the decision by the Government to sell its shares is outright stupidity that lacks words to even explain.

Professor Herman Manyora has even insisted that there is no way the Government can even explain how it can sell shares from a company that brings in ksh 18 Billion every year.

The popular analyst has even written to the CS for Treasury John Mbadi to try and explain why the Government would make such a decision.

''Doesn't it sound outright stupid to sell your shares in a company that brings you 18 billion shilling in a year? Make me see it otherwise,'' stated the popular political analyst Professor Herman Manyora.
